Pippa Middleton, 34, ‘expecting her first child’ a year after marrying James Matthews .
Pippa Middleton is pregnant, it has been reported.
The younger sister of the Duchess of Cambridge and her husband James Matthews are said to be expecting their first child in October.
She reportedly had a 12-week scan last week and has apparently revealed the news to family and friends. MailOnline has contacted Pippa’s representatives for comment.
The couple are said to be ‘overjoyed’, The Sun on Sunday reports.
The Duchess of Cambridge ‘could not have been more delighted’ when she heard the news of her sister’s pregnancy, it is reported.
Kate herself is pregnant with her third child and was reportedly the first person to be told after James Matthews.
A friend apparently said the news had provided ‘much-needed happiness and light relief’ to the family.
The couple married in May last year. Pippa chose St Mark’s Church, Englefield, Berkshire, as the venue, seven miles from her family home.
