Taylor Swift tests out rocket sled that will whisk her between stage locations on Reputation Tour.
They don’t call her Swift for nothing.
On Wednesday Taylor revealed a new toy she is going to be deploying at her upcoming tour: the rocket sled.
The 28-year-old has been treating fans to behind the scenes sneak peeks of the Reputation Tour in the 12 days leading up to kickoff.
And with six days to go she revealed how she is going to disappear from one part of the stage and magically reappear at another.
‘So it’s six days til the tour starts, and today I’m going to show you something, it’s called a rocket sled,’ she told her 107million followers on her Insta stories. ‘It goes underneath the stage.
‘It takes me from one place really quickly to another place, and the stage is so big that I guess we need that?’
In a second clip, she demonstrated the apparatus, laying a flatbed trolley in a tunnel.
‘Backstage, quick change in here … run, hustle down here… lay down here, and then … I’ll just disappear to somewhere else,’ she called out as she disappeared into the darkness.
‘So I’ll see you guys in six days, and I’m so excited,’ she concluded. ‘I cant believe its so close, its really coming together I’m so excited to show you.’
Last week she unveiled the Rep Room, the new place she’ll be whisking fans to meet and greet after her shows.
Previous updates have also starred her dad Scott showing off merchandise, her mom’s dog Kitty slobbering her, and her cat Meredith looking unimpressed.
The 51-date Reputation Tour kicks off in Glendale on May 8, taking in the US, Canada, Ireland, England, Australia and concluding in New Zealand in November.
