Johnny Depp looks notably thinner as he greets fans in Berlin…
Johnny Depp greeted fans outside his Berlin hotel on Sunday afternoon after prompting concern over his notably gaunt appearance.
The American star was in high spirits while signing autographs and posing for selfies following his return to the German capital’s Regent Hotel with Hollywood Vampires bandmate Joe Perry.
Sporting a baseball cap and heavily tinted sunglasses, Johnny, 54, beamed as he indulged those who had waited for his arrival.
The actor once again looked considerably slight of frame during his latest appearance, which comes after fans highlighted his apparent weight loss during a recent photo opportunity with two fans in St. Petersburg.
The pictures were taken at the Four Seasons hotel following a performance with the Hollywood Vampires in the Russian city, and their subsequent posting on social media led to a wave of concerned responses.
‘I think that my hero looks ill,’ said one worried admirer on Facebook, while another added: ‘He looks thin.’
Others did not seem to recognize the Pirates of the Caribbean star at all.
‘F*** me is that Johnny Depp?’ remarked one Twitter user.
In the photographs, Depp appears with a slight smile. He is wearing a hat with the letters ‘FUGLY’ branded across the front and is dressed in a t-shirt and jeans.
His t-shirt read: ‘Stay humble or be humbled.’
In another photo, taken earlier in the week in Moscow, he was seen with sunglasses on and a hat while posing at a museum. That image provoked more concern with some calling him ‘sick’ and ‘weak’.
At the time, he was posing at the Mayakovsky state museum which honors the late poet Vladimir Mayakovsky. During his visit, he was kind to staff and posed happily for other photographs where he appeared healthier and in good spirits.
The museum was thrilled with his visit and shared a photograph of a note he left in a visitor book afterwards.
It read: ‘I have been completely humbled by your hospitality and such proximity to the genius of Mayakovsky. All my respect, Johnny Depp.’
